What this version stores, requests, and sends.
Requests and hosting
Your browser requests this application from Sites/Cloudflare hosting. The host and upstream infrastructure may process ordinary connection information such as IP address, request time and user-agent information under their own policies. ICECAST has not configured an account database or a third-party advertising/analytics tracker.
NHL data requests
The application server requests public NHL schedules, statistics, rosters, player profiles, play-by-play and EDGE summaries. It sends selected team/player/game identifiers to those sources. Team logos are served locally; some player headshots are requested directly from NHL asset servers, which receive your ordinary network connection information.
Browser storage
This version stores theme/accessibility preferences and the latest simulation on your device using localStorage. Successful NHL responses are cached temporarily in memory and sessionStorage to reduce repeated requests; cached responses retain their source timestamps. Live forecast history stays in memory for this visit. You can clear saved results from Settings or clear browser site data. Storage can be unavailable or evicted; no persistence guarantee is made.
Optional diagnostics
Diagnostics are disabled by default. If enabled in Settings, a bounded record of page-load timing, simulation durations and error counts is stored only in your browser. No remote analytics endpoint receives these records. Exporting diagnostics downloads a JSON file to your device; it does not submit the file to ICECAST. Clear diagnostics from Settings at any time.
Cookies, consent and forms
The application does not install a nonessential advertising or analytics cookie technology, and therefore does not show a tracking-consent banner for this release. Hosting infrastructure may have its own operational cookies. There are no public account, newsletter, contact, payment or file-upload forms. Reassess consent before adding remote analytics or other nonessential tracking.
Retention and controls
Application source caches are bounded and temporary. Hosting log retention is managed by the hosting provider; ICECAST does not claim a particular retention period. Device-local diagnostics keep at most 80 records. Operator contact details are not configured, so no automated data-rights request channel is currently available. This policy must be reviewed before adding accounts, payments or collected personal information.
